Volkswagen presents two electric car concept at the Detroit Auto Show 2017. You could say this is a form of the Future of VW Combi. By Volkswagen, the concept car is named Volkswagen I.D. Buzz Concept with the all-wheel-drive system (AWD). This is a development of the VW BUDD-e Concept which debuted last year.

Volkswagen I.D. Buzz Concept will use a battery with a capacity of 111 kW with two electric motors, one at the front wheels and one at the rear wheel. Both the electric motors are claimed to be capable of generating power at 369 HP. The core concept is claimed to be capable of accelerating from 0-96 mph in just 5 seconds and can cover a distance of 434 km with a single charge. The battery takes less than 30 minutes to charge the battery up to 80 percent when it is filled with the power of 150 kW.
More interesting when the car concept is equipped with an automatic moving system (autonomous). How to work simply by pressing one button, the steering wheel will move automatically and connected to sensors that are scattered on the road.
The sensors include laser sensors, ultrasonic, radar, side camera and front camera. With this, the Volkswagen wants to show the world’s first multifunctional autonomous car. The autonomous car is believed will begin to enter the process of production in 2025.
