Nissan Vmotion 2.0 won Eyes on Design Award as ‘Best Concept Car’ in automotive exhibition North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in 2017. To note, Eyes on Design Award is one of the major awards in the design of transport. They have a jury consisting of eminent design leaders from around the world, to pay tribute to the best production and concept vehicle, which debuted at NAIAS 2017.
Executive Design Director, Nissan Global Strategy, Nissan Motor Co. Mamoru Aoki revealed, Nissan Vmotion 2.0 offers a stunning look to the future of Nissan’s design is fresh and dynamic, but still offers the comfort of the cabin. “This award illustrates the great potential of the latest design of Nissan,” said Mamoru.
Nissan Vmotion 2.0 is an evolution of the typical design of Nissan, ‘V-Motion’, which has been applied to many Nissan cars today. Embedded copper silver color, creating the effect of color-coated to produce different colors and reflections from different angles. The color results from the combination unit of a copper color with the color of the other metal elements. This is what makes one of the indicators of victory in terms of color.
“In the quest for perfection, more than 100 tests were conducted to get the right color. In experiments to-101, we finally found the perfect blend of copper, silver, and other metals, to produce a beautiful colorful reflection.
