Nissan will soon produce a New Nissan PHEV after cooperating with Mitsubishi. New Nissan PHEV will be a plug-in hybrid vehicle by using some of the latest technologies that exist in the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. The production process of the new car is certainly under the control of the Renault-Nissan Alliance to ensure its quality.
“One of our priorities is to bring electric cars of the future, but now we are in the process leading to such technology. We will present a solution through the latest plug-in hybrid for the European market,” said Takashi Shirakawa, Director of Research and Development of Nissan European.
A New Nissan PHEV is the successor of the Nissan Leaf is highly in demand in the European market. With larger dimensions and multifunctional believed to be the first choice for consumers. Earlier, it was still considered to be produced because it is constrained by many things. But thanks to the cooperation with Mitsubishi, the car was finally confirmed to be produced.
“We warmly welcome Mitsubishi Motors joined Nissan and they have had Outlander PHEV. The latest generation cars will benefit a wide range of advanced technologies, but have not decided for sure,” added Takashi.
Electric cars have become the top choice of European consumers in recent years. Environmentally friendly and very easy for drivers being an important factor for consumers to buy this car.
“Most consumers want an electric car with a smaller size. We understand this and have been considered to provide solutions to consumers via the latest generation of electric car technology,” added Takashi.
