General Motors will present a prototype of a future car that does not have steering wheel and lever, the New GM Cruise AV. In order to welcome the vehicles of the future, various world car manufacturers create sophisticated innovations. The innovation has been seen since last year at various world automotive exhibitions.
Various innovations are promised to be embedded in an autonomous car that is predicted to be a vehicle of the future. This time, General Motors again present a unique innovation that will be pinned on the prototype of the new autonomous car.
GM will present a concept car that no longer has steering wheel, gas lever, clutch lever, brake lever and gear shift. This modern cabin will certainly be embedded in the New GM Cruise AV which is the prototype of their latest autonomous car.
When viewed from official photos released by GM, the New GM Cruise AV dashboard looks very simple with only one large touch screen in the middle of the dashboard and some setting buttons. To produce the dashboard design, General Motors seems to modify the dashboard style of a very symmetrical Chevrolet Bolt EV.
General Motors has not much to reveal information about this latest concept car. However, the car manufacturer from Uncle Sam is currently negotiating with the US Department of Transportation to be able to test its concept car in the US urban streets in 2019.
So what about you, is it ready to surrender the journey entirely to the autonomous vehicle without the slightest intervention?
