Lamborghini officially unveils the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio Concept that is believed to be a successor to the Aventador in the future. A few days ago, Lamboghini could show a photo of the front of this supercar concept. But this time, the Italian supercar manufacturer has opened the veil of this Aventador successor.
Lamborghini has worked with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the development process of the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio Concept. The company with the bull logo intends to make a supercaptoritor of a carbon fiber panel that can be used to form a car body – so Lamborghini Terzo Millennio Concept draws energy from its own body. In other words: the car body itself is a battery.
The battery is not square-shaped, but has a variety of shapes that are adjusted and embedded in between 2 body panels. Lamborghini has not been willing to disclose specific specifications on that part, but that can be ascertained that this supercar is also available charging the battery very quickly thanks to the advanced kinetic energy regeneration system.
The concept of this car is very promising, and the car will be able to continue to monitor the condition of its own structure, detecting wear and damage through micro cells containing “chemicals that heal” in the carbon fiber itself. The small particles automatically spread and fix small cracks in the body panels.
The process is called “micro-channel filled with healing chemistries”. This idea is indeed very bright and can not be shown in the near future.
