Honda Fit Cross Style launched in Japan. Although already officially launched, but Honda still provides a little surprise for its customers. One day after the launch of Fit, Honda released the Honda Fit Cross Style which is a new type in the Fit family.
Although referred to as the latest type, but actually the car is a Honda Fit with the addition of some accessories on the exterior. These accessories are the addition of new garnishes on the front and rear bumper, tailgate decal, body side molding, wheel arch cladding, dark gray side sill garnish and 15″ Modula wheel.
This package is sold for 138,240 yen not included with Modulo wheels. While for the price of 2017 Honda Fit itself is sold with prices ranging from 1.4 million Yen – 2 million Yen. For machines and features there is no difference with other types. This car is equipped with 1.3-liter i-VTEC, 1.5-liter i-VTEC and 1.5-liter i-VTEC + i-DCD petrol-electric hybrid. The 1.3-liter engine capable of generating power of 98 hp and 155 Nm of torque. As for the 1.5-liter engine, capable of generating power of 108 hp with a torque of 134 Nm. Especially for hybrid type, i-DCD electric motor capable of generating power of 29 hp and 160 Nm of torque.
Some of Honda’s latest technology has been pinned like Honda Sensing. These features consist of Collision Mitigation Braking, Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System and so on. With some of these features, Honda vehicles are expected to be more secure.
The changes made is not too much. This is in contrast to the more modified Toyota Yaris Heykers, including higher ground clearance than the Yaris standard. The added height is useful to support the look and function of a crossover car itself. The higher altitude is expected to make the car look more manly.
