All-New 2018 Honda Accord launched in the United States. Having previously just sketched it, now Honda reveals the 10th generation of Honda Accord that offers stylish design, sporty and premium. This latest generation of the Accord has a more premium design effect thanks to shorter overhangs, sharper front fascia, long and low roof.
The exterior look of the All-new 2018 Honda Accord looks more elegant and modern thanks to the front chrome wing grille, full-LED 9-lamp, front lamp, LED fog light and LED light-pipe of rear lights. Enter the interior, 2018 Honda Accord feels more spacious and luxurious. The H logo is pinned with panoramic roof, new instrument panel, sporty steering wheel with paddle shifter, 12-way seat padding, 7″ ultra-slim TFT display and 8″ touchscreen Audio Display as standard.
While on the 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter Touring model, Honda adds a 6 “Head Up Display that delivers information such as speed, RPM, turn-by-turn navigation and Traffic Sign Recognition. For connectivity, this new Honda sedan has been equipped with automatic Bluetooth pairing with Near Field Communication and 4G LTE in-car Wi-Fi.
The entertainment features that have been embedded in a 2018 Honda Accord can be connected via Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Honda’s flagship sedan is also equipped with features HondaLink Telematics with new capabilities that is emergency roadside assistance, remote locking / unlocking, engine start, stolen vehicle tracking, remote diagnostics, geofencing and speed tracking.
All-new 2018 Honda Accord now has three power source options are 2 conventional 4-cylinder direct-injection trubocharged engine and hybrid drive with 2.0-liter engine and two motors. In the petrol engine option, Honda uses a 1.5-liter 16-valve DOHC direct-injection turbo engine with dual VTC capable of spitting out 192 HP power at 5,500 RPM and 260 NM at 1,500-5,000 RPM. While the second engine is a 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC direct-injection turbo with I-VTEC capable of generating power of 252 HP at 6,500 RPM and 370 NM of torque at 1500-4000 RPM.
On a 1.5-liter engine mated to a CVT transmission, the 2.0-liter engine is integrated with a 10-speed automatic transmission and there is a 6-speed manual transmission option for both machines.
All-new 2018 Honda Accord awarded with Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS ™), Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, New Traffic Sign Recognition, Blind Spot Information, front and rear parking sensors, Cross Traffic Monitor, Awareness Monitor Driver, Multi-Angle Rear View Camera with dynamic guidelines, Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control, Anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake Distribution, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and airbags on the front.
