New 2018 Volkswagen Passat GT will hit the stage of North America International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2018 with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. New 2018 Volkswagen Passat GT uses the base to trim R-Line in which is a special model specifically designed by a VW North American. Development of this special model is done because of the increasing interest of consumers in the US against this VW sedan mainstay.
When viewed from the exterior, the 2018 Volkswagen Passat GT has pinned the headlights and DRL LED technology, a special R-Line bumper and honeycomb grille. There is a red line typical of the Golf GTI and the roof with black color makes this 4-door sedan look more dynamic.
In addition, the German car manufacturer also pinned the 19″ alloy wheel with Tornado design, black rear spoiler, sporty rear bumper, darker taillights and dual-exhaust tips. All these additional accessories make the overall exterior look different from the standard model.
For the interior, VW sporty theme where the cabin comes with a black piano trim, carbon fiber accents, black headliner and aluminum GT-badged sills. The seats on the new VW sedan is wrapped with black leatherette and there are accents made from Moonrock Gray.
Going into the heart of the runway, the new VW Passat GT carries a 3.6-liter narrow-angle V6 engine that has 280 horsepower and 349 NM of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed Matic transmission with paddle shift on the steering wheel. New 2018 VW Passat GT will be present at VW America dealerships in the 2nd half of this year with a tag of starting at USD 29,940.
