All-new 2018 Toyota Avalon is set to make its global debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), taking place in Detroit, USA, from January 13-28, 2018. Prior to its premiere, Toyota released its newest teaser sedan. This first teaser seems to ensure the look of Toyota Avalon is very modern and sophisticated. When compared to the 2013 version, the overall look appears to have changed very significantly. When viewed from the teaser, Avalon has pinned the design of the headlamps that blend with DRL.
The DRL lamps have been using white LED technology and are very popular in the modern era today. The front fascia of the Toyota sedan is also present with the design of a new generation and more handsome. Toyota also pinned a large grille with vertical air intakes and sculpted hood. The fog lamp on this sedan appears to be on the side of the grille and there are accent lines along the front view of this sedan.
All-new 2018 Toyota Avalon is predicted to use the previous TNGA platform has been stored on the Toyota Camry 2018. In addition to using the same platform, this sedan is also predicted to carry 3.5-liter V6 engine. The engine that has been pinned on the Toyota Camry is capable of spraying power of 301 HP and 361 NM of torque. As for the hybrid variant is predicted to use a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and electric motor that has a total power of 208 HP.
The new sedan is also expected to have embedded Toyota Safety Sense safety features consisting of automatic high beam headlights, lane departure warning and pre-collision warning with pedestrian detection.
