2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross as a guest star at the auto show debut of the Geneva Motor Show 2017. Mitsubishi’s new SUV is predicted as a competitor to the Nissan Qashqai / X-Trail. Being one alliance (Nissan-Renault-Mitsubishi), all three manufacturers are starting to look a shared platform in creating new products.
It is said that the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a production version of the XR-PHEV concept before. It is seen from the equation Dynamic Shield on the grille and fascia on both vehicles. This engine is paired with a CVT transmission system 8-speed sport mode and manual override.
Mitsubishi also offers a choice of 2.2-liter engine with common rail direct-injected turbo diesel. This power source is also coupled with a system of automatic 8-speed transmission. It is said that the advantage of Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is the agility of an SUV. The car also uses Mitsubishi Active yaw control, the device was first used on Lancer Evolution.
Such features include steering angle, yaw rate, drive torque, wheel speed and brake force on the rear axle. Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a four-wheel vehicle SUV or so-called all-wheel drive. 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will go on sale in Europe in 2018 after it spread to Japan, North America and Australia.
