Lotus has revealed the new 2017 Lotus Exige Sport 380 in the Land of Birth. This is the most aggressive version of the Lotus Exige is based on Sport 350. The British automotive company claims that the new Lotus Exige Sport 380 is lower and more aerodynamic than other Lotus Exige. Another advantage of this car is just having an empty weight of 1,066 kg or 26.3 kg lighter than Sport 350.
The weight reduction thanks to the use of a new front splitter, a revised front access panel, new rear wing and a new rear diffuser made from titanium. Designed as a roadster, Lotus makes its body shape did not change significantly from the other row of the Lotus Exige. The difference is only in the front and rear bumper. To make it clear, the car uses a blend of three colors: silver, black and red.
The 2017 Lotus Exige Sport 380 is equipped with a configuration engine supercharged 3.5-liter V6 capable of spraying power of 370 HP and torque of 410 NM. On paper, the sports car has been able to move from the point of rest to 100 kph in just 3.5 seconds (both manual and automatic transmissions).
This car has the ability to match supercars such as Ferrari and Lamborghini. So not too much if called “The Killer Supercar”. Meanwhile, in an internal test conducted, 2017 Lotus Exige Sport 380 is able to reach a maximum speed of 286 kph.
To increase the pleasure of driving, 2017 Lotus Exige Sport 380 has been using Eibach suspension at the front and rear. This suspension has been adapted to the wild character of the Lotus Exige Sport 380, thereby increasing the time out of the car in high speed corners.
